Final Hurdle

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

We had been impatiently waiting for our last letter that we needed to complete our visa applications. Yesterday morning I got up and checked our email and it wasn’t there. Disappointed, I figured we would have to wait another day. After spending time in God’s word and praying to Him about this letter and other things, I decided to check the email again. The letter had arrived. I love it when God works like that.

Today I will be heading to Fed-Ex with all our paperwork to send to the embassy. We are supposed to have visas in hand in 10-15 days. We ask for your prayers in this process. That God would grant us favor and we would receive our visas with no  problems in a timely manner.

It has been a while since we have posted. God has done many things big and small during that time. It is now 45 DAYS until we depart and I trust that God has much more in store for us. May His peace guard our hearts and minds as we continue to run the race set before us.
